Lava 2017: Maya Deren. Avant-garde Film Festival is aimed at presenting the achievements of avant-garde filmmakers. Its inaugural edition was devoted to the seminal figure of American avant-garde cinema – Maya Deren. Thanks to Lava Festival artists from Poland and abroad gather in Cracow. It attracts experimental artists working with a variety of media - visual artists, composers, dancers, performers and fashion designers.
